Spirals

If I were to take a magnet and then wrap it in metal with a post in the center of it and placed a metal ring over the post it would spin and then if I were to attach  jumper cables from a battery it would spin very fast and if I were to place contacts at the metal ring it would generate a certain current specific to turn a device like a coffee maker on and off. https://goo.gl/images/vAGBHJ
